Honest Review of GrandeLASH-MD
It’s a sad truth that eyelashes are naturally thin and lose pigment as we age. Thankfully, there are several options nowadays to help fight the aging process and enhance lashes. Today I’m sharing an honest review of GrandeLash-MD, how I was introduced to this award-winning lash-enhancing serum, and if I would recommend it to others.
A few years ago, I played around with the idea of getting eyelash extensions because I noticed my eyelashes were starting to not look as thick and full as they used to. After reading several terrifying articles of how eyelash extensions can thin your eyelashes if not applied properly, I began to search for alternatives. Plus, I’ve never been someone who likes to wear a lot of eye makeup. I was blessed with my mom’s blue eyes and oftentimes only wear a coat of mascara in addition to tinted moisturizer & bronzer. Eyelash extensions felt like overkill and something that I wouldn’t want to deal with the up-keep on.
What is GrandeLASH?
When Matthew and I got engaged in August 2020, I knew I wanted to look our best for our wedding in November 2021 with as minimal makeup as possible. I had worn false lashes in the past, and for some reason, they leave my eyes red and irritated after a few hours. Additionally, I don’t think they look natural on my face, and I want to look the most like myself on our wedding day, just minus a few skin flaws!
After some Google searches and conversations with friends, I decided to give GrandeLASH a try. GrandeLASH is a lash enhancing serum from Grande Cosmetics and a Glamour Beauty Award Winner for 2021. Combated with a killer blend of vitamins, peptides, and amino acids, GrandeLASH enhances your lashes and creates long-looking lashes. The product is ophthalmologist tested, cruelty-free and paraben-free.
How Do You Use GrandeLASH?
GrandeLASH couldn’t be easier to use! Once a day, apply the product on your lash line like you would liquid eyeliner. It only takes one dip to get enough product to apply to both eyes. Allow the serum to dry and then go about your day. The serum is super similar in its consistency to other eyelash enhancing products I’ve used it in the past. It’s important to let the serum dry for 1-2 minutes before applying the rest of your eye makeup so that the product doesn’t shift around.
As someone constantly on the go with a million deliverables a day, I love that this product only takes a few seconds to apply. After I get out of the shower, I apply my niacinamide + zinc formula from the Ordinary (the best for taming oily skin), following by Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, and then the GrandeLASH Eyelash Enhancing Serum. I let the serum dry for 2-3 minutes while I put It’s A 10 and brush though my hair, and then I’m ready to apply my Tarte BB Tinted Moisturizer and a swipe of mascara.
How long does it take to see results?
According to the Grande Cosmetics website, you’ll see naturally longer, thick looking lashes in 4-6 weeks with full improvement in 3 months. Truthfully, I began to see results within a week of using this product, but I know everyone is a little different. If you use the product consistently every morning or night for 3 months, you’ll see an enhancement to short, thinning, brittle lashes.
Is GrandeLASH Worth the Price Tag?
In my opinion, it’s 100% worth the price tag! When compared to eyelash extensions or a lash lift/tint, GrandeLASH is actually a bargain in comparison. Both eyelash extensions or lift/tint will set your back at least $100 and require routine maintenance. GrandeLASH only takes one swipe once a day on your upper lash line to see naturally longer, thicker-looking lashes in 4-6 weeks. The only maintenance GrandeLASH requires in continued use until you’ve reached your desired results, and then continue to use every other day to maintain the growth.
