An Honest Review: Ever/Body Cosmetic Dermatology Arlington

As someone with far-from-perfect skin, I’ve visited my fair share of medical spas and cosmetic dermatologists over the past decade. From chemical peels to microneedling, I’ve done it all. However, I’ve never quite had an experience like Ever/Body.

What is Ever/Body?

Ever/Body offers a relaxed cosmetic dermatology experience with all the popular cosmetic treatments. From Botox and fillers to microneeding and hydrafacials, Ever/Body is a playground for women in their 20s and 30s. They have several locations in the D.C. metro area, including Logan Circle, Georgetown, Cabin John, and Arlington.

I visited the Ever/Body Arlington location in major need of a skin detox. With the winter weather, PCOS hormones, and a full week of traveling for the holidays, I felt super insecure in my own skin. After stalking their website, unsure of whether or not to take the leap and try this new-to-me spa experience, I decided to go for it and book the Hydrafacial Boost. Let me say that I am SO glad I did.

My Experience

With a host of skin imperfections ranging from blackheads and acne scars to active breakouts, I often feel judged at cosmetic dermatology practices for the state of my skin. This was not my experience at Ever/Body. In fact, my experience was relaxed, comfortable, and supportive. The online booking experience was so easy and boasted transparent pricing. No, thank you, sticker shock!

The Ever/Body office is a modern minimalist’s dream, complete with light wood and golden accents. A handful of tasteful built-in displays around the lobby with popular skincare brands like EltaMD, OSEA, and SkinCeuticals.

My aesthetician (shout to Deyanira!) was nothing short of exemplary. She was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and kind and walked me through my skin concerns and the hydrafacial. Before, during, and after my treatment, she helped me feel empowered, heard, and comfortable, not judged and belittled. I ended up receiving the medical-grade acne booster to really help clarify my congested skin.

The overall environment was relaxed and delivered a no-pressure experience, even when it came to payment and scheduling additional treatments. For future services, I was given upfront pricing, plan options, and package deals for the services that would best suit my needs.

Final Thoughts

I am so bummed I didn’t find Ever/Body before my wedding. I spent a precious penny trying to prep my skin for the big day, but I never truly felt like I was a part of the process. I wasn’t given a treatment plan or asked to discuss my goals. Instead, I was told which treatments to book next at the end of each session with little to no explanation or upfront pricing.

After my hydrafacial at Ever/Body, my aesthetician walked me through treatments she’d recommend to help me reach my desired results. All my questions—pertaining to the downtime of treatments, time between services, and benefits were answered incredibly thoroughly.

I ended up booking the recommended services and left feeling excited and empowered with dewy, hydrated, and plump skin. I was even encouraged to wear a hat to my appointment since laser facials increase sun sensitivity. If you know me, you know sun safety is the key to my heart.

Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Ever/Body Arlington and cannot wait to return for my next treatment.
