Apple Honey Brie Bites
Creamy Brie, juicy apple slices, and crispy crostini. Today’s Apple Honey Brie Bites are a must-try! Plus, you won’t believe how easy this recipe is to throw together for a delicious appetizer.
I’ve had honey brie bites on my mind since writing about the 12 Must-Try Recipes for Summer. In this post, I highlighted watermelon brie bites that made my mouth water. Because watermelon isn’t in season yet, I decided to take the recipe in a different direction.
Apple Honey Brie Bites:
1 Honeycrisp apple
8 oz Brie wheel
Honey
1 baguette, sliced
3/4 cup olive oil
Instruction:
Preheat the oven to 350º
Make the crostini. Thinly slice the baguette into even slices, about 1/4 inch. Place the slices onto a baking sheet. Brush the olive oil onto both sides of the slice. Bake for 5-8 minutes, flip, and then bake for another 5-8 minutes.
Cut the Honeycrisp apple into thin slices.
Make the brie. Take an 8oz Brie wheel and place it into a circular baking dish. Liberally drizzle with honey. Bake the brie for 5-7 minutes.
Assemble the bites on a charcuterie board. Take a crostini, place on top a few slices of apple, and then drizzle with the brie.
If there is any brie left over, keep it in the dish a serve it with extra apple slices. The apple slices are delicious when dipped directly into the Brie.
