Spring Break Travel Essentials

I don’t know if it’s the dusting of ice and snow I woke up to earlier this week or the fact that spring break is only a few weeks away, but I am struggling from a major case of spring fever! I’ve been lathering on my favorite self-tanner like nobody’s business! I figured while I’m sitting here waiting for it to dry, I’d round up some of my favorite spring travel essentials.

A FEW NOTES:

Jergens Natural Glow // I have sworn by this in-shower moisturizer for years. It’s under $9 ✔️, doesn’t smell ✔️, and doesn’t rub off on my clothes ✔️. This is the ideal product if you want a gradual tan with time, or a little glow overnight. The results aren’t immediate, so if it’s 3 p.m. and you need a tan before you meet up with your girlfriends at 9 p.m., you’re better off using the Jergens Instant Sun Moisturizing Lotion.

Side note: have any of you ladies tried St. Tropez? My sister and friends swear by it, but I haven’t been able to pull the trigger due to the cost. I’m been eying this St. Tropez in-shower tan in medium for times when I want an instant tan overnight…

Slide Sandals // These Hermés dupes are THE BEST! I found mine at my local Target store just before Thanksgiving for $5 dollars, you heard me, $5!! Far more affordable than the $600+ designer option from Hermés. These faux leather sandals and super versatile and surprisingly comfortable thanks to their foam midsole. If Target is sold out in your size, check out these leather Steve Madden dupes!

Sunscreen // My first stop after I get off the plane is always to the store to pick up this Hawaiian Tropics sunscreen. Because it is an aerosol, I, unfortunately, can’t bring it from home. This is my all-time favorite sunscreen and the smell just makes me feel like I’m officially on vacation. (I know I’m so weird, but once I find products I love, I stick with them!)

What are your spring must-haves?

    1. Hardtop suitcases are my favorite! I purchased mine about 4 years ago and it’s stil in near perfect condition. (Even after checking it!)

    1. I swear by hardtop suitcases! I think it protects everything a ton better than fabric ones, especially when flying.

  1. That straw hat is just what I’ve been looking for. It looks like the $400 Brit West version, but only 1/10th of the price! Great find!

    1. YES, exactly!! I had a little melt down when I saw how much people were paying for straw hats. There are SO many affordable options out there!
